How a Spa is Made
Step 1 VACUUM FORMING
The first step in the process is to
vacuum form the acrylic shell.
Step 2 VINYL & FIBERGLASS
The underside of the shell is sprayed with layers of Vinyl Ester and fiberglass to create a water tight vessel and ensure structural integrity.
Step 3 HAND ROLLING
Each layer is hand rolled to remove air
pockets and compress the fiberglass.
Step 4 TRIMMING
Once the fiberglass has cured, the edges of the tub are trimmed.
Step 5 DRILLING
Holes are then drilled for the jets and plumbing fixtures.
Step 6 GRINDING
The edges are ground to ensure a flush fit with the plumbing components.
Step 7 JET INSTALLATION
The jets and other attachments are fitted to the shell.
Step 8 PLUBMING
The plumbing is then attached to the shell.
Step 9 SPA FRAME
The 2x4 treated frame is attached to the shell.
Step 10 ELECTRONICS INSTALLATION
The control module, heater and other electronics are then installed.
Step 11 WATER TEST
The spa is then tested to ensure optimal operations.
Step 12 SKIRT INSTALLATION
The Cedar or Cedarlite synthetic skirt is attached.
Step 13 FULL FOAM INSULATION
The space between the shell and the skirt is then fully foamed which both insulates and reduces plumbing vibrations and noise.
Step 14 INSPECTION
The spa is then checked by the quality control team one last time for any imperfections.
Step 15 PACKING & SHIPPING
Your beautiful Pacific Spa is now ready to be shipped directly to you for years of fun, relaxation and enjoyment!
