A spa can be delivered either flat, or in the vertical position on a delivery cart, as long as there is sufficient clearance and a firm base on which to roll the cart. Please contact your Pacific Spa dealer to find the height and width added by
the delivery cart which the dealer will use to deliver your new spa so that you may determine whether it will fit through the intended delivery route.
|
Prior to delivery, check if the intended delivery pathway has sufficient overhead and width clearance. Check all gates, gas meters, electric meters and A/C units. Check low roof eaves, overhanging branches, and rain gutters. Is the path clear? Move away branches, dog houses, firewood, etc.
Please note that it may be necessary to allow for additional overhead clearance if the spa is to be rolled up an incline or moved up a short flight of stairs.
If there is a 90 turn? Can it be cleared?

Keep in mind that the spa must remain on the delivery cart (if a cart is being used) at all times. It may therefore be necessary to remove a gate or partially dismantle a fence in order to provide an unobstructed passageway.
If the spa must be removed from the delivery cart in order to go over a wall, or because the entry is too narrow, a crane will be required. Don't panic, the use of a crane is common practice to avoid injury to your Pacific Spas dealer's personnel, and/or damage to your property.
|
For a charge, a crane can be parked in your driveway, and a licensed and insured operator will lift your spa over the house and place it as close to the installation site as possible. Crane installations usually take about 30 minutes to complete and can be supervised by your Pacific Spas dealer.
Please note that if your delivery does require the use of a crane, you will probably be required to pay for its services upon completion of the delivery.
